The Marshall Law Chronicles: Transhumanism
Episode Two: When Science Denial Embraces Science-Fiction
The Marshall Law Chronicles is a report on the state of mind of Republican Americans, what they believe, and why. This report comes from my countless hours observing the political right on TikTok. I have posted the craziest videos on a massive thread on Twitter, but there are hundreds more I see and never post, and it’s given me a glimpse into their minds. This report refers to these conspiracy-ridden and often violent Republicans as Marshalls. You can find Episode One here.
We all learned basic science when we were kids, didn’t we? Maybe we don’t remember the things we learned in middle or high school, but we remember the basics, right? Heat evaporates water. We breathe out carbon dioxide. Newton’s Third Law. While many of us learned these things long ago, the alt-right has heavily embraced science denial and turned scientific evidence into conspiracy theories.
Many following the TikTok thread have been most astounded by how many Marshalls believe people or government entities are controlling the weather. The Marshalls always refer to the weather controllers as “they” but never clarify who “they” are. While it’s easy to assume they mean the American government, it’s also likely the Marshalls are talking about the “New World Order” or the “Illuminati” when referring to “they.”
As of now, aside from cloud seeding, human beings do not possess the capability to control the weather. However, most scientists and futurists agree that one-day human beings will have the technology to do so, but they are far from that day.
The Marshalls have spoken about how “they” are creating the floods in Kentucky or how “they” are intentionally making it cloudy in North Carolina. Most of the weather-controlling that the Marshalls talk about directly correlates with climate change. However, they’ve been told for decades that global warming isn’t real and climate change doesn’t exist. It appears they’re trying to make sense of the climate disaster we see worldwide, but science denial has led them to invent sci-fi creations that don’t exist.
It isn’t only about the weather. One man made a video about how the FBI took a strand of Trump’s hair during the Mara-Lago raid and could make a clone of him in three days. Not a baby, but a full-grown 70-year-old man. That’s not how cloning technology works.
The most frightening science denial the Marshalls have embraced is Transhumanism.
The reason why it’s become frightening is that far-right influencers have also embraced this sci-fi idea and are spreading it through the mainstream.
Disgraced General Michael Flynn recently said on the ThriveTime Show (the organization hosting his Reawakening America Tour), “They are trying to change the very essence of our DNA. And there are people working on this, that’s one of them, which is not going to work. So what are they going to do? They are basically going to put components of robotics into us.”
When he said “they,” he was referring to “globalists.” He was speaking about the Covid vaccine.
Popular election-denier and Harris County right-wing activist SteveHotze recently said in a speech, “Once injected with the so-called vaccine, you’re connected to the internet of things, and you can be mind-controlled through artificial intelligence through maybe 5G.”
It isn’t only America’s far-right embracing these ideas. Italy’s newly elected fascist Prime Minister repeated the same. She said, “We can not let our identity be taken by technocratic transhuman ideology and destructive globalists.”
WTF is Transhumanism, anyway?
For you and I, Transhumanism falls under the Fourteen Characteristics of Fascism. It places us in a box and makes us the “others.” We’re a threat to the Marshalls, a foe, and unlike previous fascist movements, Transhumanism can decent across racial and ethnic lines.
For the Marshalls, Transhumanism is a demonic plan crafted by the global elite to control the masses. Not just control them, to kill them as well. I’ve stumbled on dozens of videos of Marshalls who believe the “New World Order” has used vaccines to implant the vaccinated with microchips, nanotechnology, and even poison.
According to the Marshalls, you are no longer human if you take the vaccine. Most of them refer to us as Transhumans, calling themselves “Pure Bloods” and “Muggles.” It’s ironic considering that in Harry Potter, “muggles” were what they referred to as “dirty blood.” Sadly, irony is a concept the Marshalls rarely seem to grasp.
Last year, news broke that the unvaccinated were calling themselves “Pure Blood,” and it made national headlines. Historians and educators spread the word, “This was a term the Nazis used to embrace.” It didn’t matter. They still refer to themselves as “Pure Blood.”
“The vaccinated no longer act the same, and they’re dropping dead, left and right.”
The Marshalls all seem to be in consensus. They can tell among their family and friends who has been vaccinated and who hasn’t. Over the last few months, several videos have circulated with monologues in cars of elderly men and women talking about how their sister or neighbor began acting differently over the “jab.” It’s something that they thought about a lot, something that concerns them and keeps them awake at night.
According to many, vaccinated people around them are dropping dead without illness or injury. Most people in America die from heart disease, which may or may not be why their loved ones have perished, but there is no evidence that thousands of Americans are randomly dropping dead for no reason.
In a time in America when our society is so divided, this is only one more issue driving a wedge between our country.
This kind of talk is insane and only lives in the underworld of the far-right. So we shouldn’t take it seriously. Right?
That’s what I thought when I started seeing these ideas float around on alt-right TikTok. Most of the videos with this type of propaganda I come across are put out there by people who are otherwise isolated from society. They live in rural areas, lack education, and often post TikTok while heavily intoxicated. So their ideas seemed too out there, too kooky to be taken seriously.
I thought that until I saw Michael Flynn, Steve Hotze, and the Italian Prime Minister using the same language as those nuts in the woods.
This is now language that the ReAwaken America Tour has embraced.
The Reawaken America Tour launched last month and has been holding rallies at Evangelical Churches across America. Christofascism. The tour embraces Covid conspiracies, the Big Lie, and a promise of the Civil War… a holy war… perhaps, even the rapture.
The speakers include Michael Flynn, Kash Patel, Peter Navarro, Mike Lindell, Roger Stone, and Eric Trump. Many of the same people involved in planning the January 6 Insurrection are affiliated with the Reawaken America Tour.
Thousands of white evangelical Republicans are flocking to this tour at each stop.
While the TikToks that I post on Twitter are only a small representation of the overall Republican base, the thread is massive and keeps growing because of how widespread their ideas have become.
The Reawaken America Tour is brainwashing the masses and perpetuating hate. In the meanwhile, Steve Bannon’s podcast is pushing for shock troops.
It’s a wonder that we haven’t seen more political violence.
The top influencers in the Republican party have been spreading fascist ideas for several years now, and the voting base is listening.
The Marshalls have repeatedly said that they want to overturn the government and kill all Democrats (everyone who isn’t far-right is a Democrat in their eyes). We aren’t the same as them. We come from the pits of hell and are no longer human. They have to believe that, because it will make it easier for them to hurt us without empathy or remorse when they finally get the balls to do something violent. Remember, we’re the others.
Don’t close your eyes, don’t look away, and vote as if Republicans want you dead.
